Course Overview & Technical Introduction
Welcome to Module 2: Deployment & Initial Provisioning.
This hands-on, technical module transitions from the conceptual foundations established in Module 1 to the physical deployment of the aiCommandor sovereign orchestration platform.
In this module, you will learn how to prepare a hardened Linux host, gather critical pre-installation assets (such as AI provider credentials), and execute the automated install.sh deployment engine. You will also configure secure local networking using the Caddy reverse proxy, complete the license activation process by generating your EULA-linked Provisioning Receipt, and walk through the first-mile browser onboarding wizard to deploy your very first autonomous agents.
🔑 Key Learning Objectives:
- Harden the Host Environment: Prepare a dedicated, non-root system user and configure local firewall rules to establish a zero-inbound-public-ports network posture.
- Execute Automated Installation: Run the install.sh script to provision isolated project workspaces and deploy the containerized stack.
- Secure Local Communications: Configure Caddy for local SSL/TLS termination to protect user-to-server traffic.
- Complete Commercial Activation: Generate the PROVISIONING_RECEIPT.json file as your formal EULA acceptance document to secure your commercial license key.
- Navigate First-Mile Onboarding: Access the secure UI, connect your AI backbone, awaken system-managed agents, and create your first custom agent persona.
🚀 Module 2 Introduction: Setting Up the Sovereign Perimeter
Now, it is time to turn sovereign orchestration concepts into a running, secure reality.
Deploying enterprise software often involves navigating complex, error-prone manual configurations. To eliminate these bottlenecks and guarantee a hardened installation, Perenion Limited has engineered an automated deployment pipeline centered around the install.sh script.
This module is structured to guide you seamlessly through the entire deployment lifecycle, divided into two distinct phases:
┌────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐ │ THE DEPLOYMENT & ONBOARDING JOURNEY │ │ │ │ [ PHASE 1: THE TERMINAL (CLI) ] │ │ • Gather AI Provider credentials & plan your first agent persona │ │ • Harden Host OS & isolate the 'commander' system user │ │ • Run the automated 'install.sh' script │ │ • Configure Caddy for local SSL/TLS termination │ │ │ │ │ ▼ │ │ [ PHASE 2: THE BROWSER (UI) ] │ │ • Accept the EULA & download the 'PROVISIONING_RECEIPT.json' │ │ • Complete the Onboarding Wizard & connect your AI backbone │ │ • Awaken system-managed agents & deploy your first custom agent │ └────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
Phase 1: The Terminal (CLI)
Your journey begins in the command-line interface. You will prepare a dedicated host server, establish strict user isolation boundaries, and run the automated installer. The installer will verify your system resources, build the isolated directory structure for project workspaces, generate secure environment configurations, and launch the containerized services. Finally, you will configure local SSL/TLS termination to ensure all browser-to-server communications are fully encrypted.
Phase 2: The Browser (UI)
Once the containers are running, you will transition to the web browser. You will access the secure local interface, establish your administrative credentials, and retrieve your Provisioning Receipt to activate your commercial license. From there, the interactive Onboarding Wizard will guide you through connecting your AI provider backbones, "awakening" the platform's built-in system agents, and configuring your very first custom agent persona.
By the end of this module, you will have a fully operational, secure, and licensed instance of aiCommandor running within your private infrastructure, ready to execute complex multi-agent missions.
Let us begin by preparing your host environment and gathering your pre-installation assets.
