Course Overview & Technical Introduction
Welcome to Module 3: Platform Administration & Enterprise Governance.
Once your platform is successfully deployed and initialized, the operational focus shifts from initial setup to long-term governance, security, compliance, and maintenance. This module provides platform administrators with the deep technical knowledge required to manage day-2 operations within an enterprise environment.
In this module, you will learn how to expand your cognitive infrastructure by connecting multiple AI providers and tuning advanced model parameters. You will govern your Agent Roster with precise system prompts, temperature settings, and tool permissions. You will also master the platform's identity hierarchy, configuring Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), managing user groups, and enforcing group-level AI provider policies to control costs and ensure compliance.
Additionally, we will cover enterprise-grade security and system settings—including LDAP/LDAPS directory integration, SMTP email server configuration, Pluggable Data Loss Prevention (DLP) columns, day-2 licensing compliance (with clock drift protection), and syslog auditing. Finally, you will establish automated backup, restore, and upgrade procedures, and master essential Docker Compose commands for stack troubleshooting and runtime operations.
🔑 Key Learning Objectives:
- Manage Cognitive Infrastructure: Connect multiple AI providers and tune model access parameters, context windows, and thinking levels.
- Govern the Agent Roster: Create, configure, and restrict specialized custom agents and manage their tool permissions.
- Enforce Identity & Access Control: Configure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), manage system-defined and custom roles, and organize users into groups.
- Apply Group-Level AI Policies: Restrict specific user groups to authorized AI providers and models to control costs and enforce data compliance.
- Harden Enterprise Security & Settings: Integrate LDAP/LDAPS for centralized authentication, configure SMTP email settings, set up pluggable DLP columns, and enable syslog monitoring.
- Maintain Platform Longevity & Troubleshoot: Schedule automated backups, execute disaster recovery restores, perform zero-downtime upgrades, and troubleshoot runtime container operations.
🚀 Module 3 Introduction: Mastering Day-2 Operations
In Module 2, you successfully navigated the terminal and browser phases to deploy and initialize your sovereign aiCommandor instance. Now, as a Master Commander, you hold the keys to the platform's administrative engine.
Platform administration is not just about keeping the services running; it is about establishing a secure, compliant, and highly optimized environment where your organization's teams can safely collaborate with autonomous agents. To achieve this, your administrative duties are divided into five core pillars:
┌────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐ │ THE FIVE PILLARS OF ADMINISTRATION │ │ │ │ [1. COGNITIVE ENGINE] ──► Connect multiple AI Providers & tune models.│ │ [2. AGENT ROSTER] ──► Govern agent personas & tool permissions. │ │ [3. IDENTITY (RBAC)] ──► Manage Commanders, Roles, Groups, & Policies│ │ [4. SECURITY & AUDIT] ──► Configure LDAP, SMTP, DLP, & Licensing. │ │ [5. MAINTENANCE] ──► Execute backups, restores, & troubleshooting│ └────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
Throughout this module, we will explore each of these pillars in depth, providing step-by-step UI walkthroughs, configuration templates, and CLI runbooks to ensure your sovereign perimeter remains secure, resilient, and perfectly aligned with your enterprise policies.
Let us begin with your cognitive foundation: AI Provider & Model Management.
